#LanderBiz: Awaken Fitness and Wellness opens January 8th

#landerbiz, brought to you by the Lander Chamber of Commerce, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

(Lander, WY) – Annie Cook and Siobhan Fahey are excited to bring the community Awaken Fitness and Wellness located at 1255 Main Street, inside Palace Pharmacy. They officially open their doors on Saturday, January 8th.

These two single moms hustled and worked hard to fully fund and open this new fitness center that combines their expertise in fitness, wellness, and science.

Awaken Fitness and Wellness is a safe place where everyone is welcome, the two shared. We are here to help guide people as they figure out their fitness and wellness, and find their power within.

In addition to the gym, a variety of fitness classes are offered such as yoga, Zumba, and HIIT – these are open to both members and non-members.

Their grand opening on January 8th kicks off with several fitness classes, including a boxing class from Kimball Davis, a winning belted professional boxer from Salt Lake City.

The grand opening fitness classes are shared below, along with how to register.

The wellness center includes a float pod, a cold plunge, as well as an infrared sauna. Massage therapy is also available.

They have a Protein Bar, which is open to everyone – no membership is required. Items like smoothies, smoothie bowls, and protein snacks are available.

Awaken Fitness and Wellness has its own supplements available for purchase. Annie and Siobhan formulated them and they are manufactured in an FDA-regulated facility located in Salt Lake City.

Additional fitness options include nutrition counseling, personal training, and personalized bloodwork.

They emphasized the importance of focusing on the individual and providing people the best opportunity they can have regardless of age and gender.

They offer different membership levels, including a discounted rate for students, seniors and veterans. They are also affiliated with SilverSneakers, a subsidiary of Medicare, which can help cover the cost of the membership for seniors.

Check out the flyer below which outlines their membership offerings and pricing for classes, wellness, and more.

You can email [email protected] or [email protected] to sign up. You can also call them at (307) 206-1079 with any questions.
