(Shoshoni, WY) – After a daring takedown of the “would-be Christmas thief” by the Shoshoni Police Department on December 23rd, new information has been released.
Fortunately, Santa had already visited, presents were likely opened and parents were hopefully on their 3rd cup of coffee when the following public notice came through today, December 25th.

Grinch commits daring escape! Shoshoni Police request reinforcements!
The Grinch slithered and slunk, making his escape without even a clunk! The Grinch left in a hurry, attempting to free his pet partner. Max it seems and had grown quite comfy indeed! Besides Max thought, I’m warm and fed and it’s cold out, I’ll stay instead!
The Grinch climbed what he could find, a four-wheeler with a key still inside!
As he drove through Town, the Grinch saw the Shoshoni Police were chasing him down! Even Santa Claus was coming after him now!
Through Town they went, a sight to see, sneering at all that came out to see. The Grinch tried as he could, but he could not evade the Shoshoni PD with Santa in the lead!
Vowing to return again next year, the Grinch said have a Happy New Year!
Max was not charged, as he is was an unwilling accomplice!
