The FORWARD FREMONT COUNTY Political Action Committee is looking for a logo that will be used on flyers, signs, and other campaign materials in the upcoming primary election. They are the organization behind a the proposed addition of a 1/2 cent sales tax to support economic development and transportation in the County (such as the WRTA busses pictured above). After obtaining the necessary petition signatures to have the issue added to the August ballot, the PAC is moving forward with education and information. Read more about the proposal here.
Instead of going to an out-of-town marketing firm to come up with ideas, the committee is reaching out to the creative and artistic Fremont County citizens.
To logo should be simple, easily recognizable, and, most importantly encompass the future, growth, and improvement of this unique and incredible county. They are looking for hand drawn, sketched, or computer generated ideas.
So if you’re creative, love Fremont County, and/or are committed to its future, give this some thought and submit a photo or sketch to [email protected] by Thursday, May 28th.
The winner will not only have their idea displayed all over Fremont County, but will be treated to dinner for two at the center of the county, at the world famous Svilars in Hudson.
