    FCSD #25 Board to decide next steps about weekend arrest

    UPDATE 5-5: According to an internal memo sent to some FCSD #25 staff, the school board chose to ask Andre-Flanagan to remain in her position. However, to date, no public statement has been released from Andre-Flanagan or the District.

    County 10 reached out to District Board of Trustees Chair Carl Manning to discuss the decision.

    “After the executive session there was no action nor comment. The District 25 Board of Trustees practice is to make no comment about personnel issues,” Manning stated.

    (Riverton, WY) – Fremont County School District #25 Superintendent JoAnne Andre-Flanagan was arrested for driving while under the influence on Saturday evening, according to the Riverton Police Department report.

    The District Board of Trustees Chair Carl Manning shared with County 10 in an email that they will evaluate the information and make a decision as a whole about the next steps.

    The board has a regular meeting Tuesday night scheduled, he continued, but there is no guarantee a statement will be available following the meeting.

    Superintendent Andre-Flanagan was not available for comment.
