County commission to draft resolution opposing Federal Government’s ’30 by 30′ land preservation goal

(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners will convene for a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 2nd, 9:00 AM, in the Commission Chambers at the Fremont County Courthouse.

Agenda items for the meeting include the drafting of a resolution opposing the Biden-Harris administration’s “30 by 30” plan, a nationwide conservation goal to conserve 30 percent of U.S. lands and waters by 2030.

The draft discussion will be led by Commission Chairman Travis Becker.

Other agenda items include public hearings on a road vacation for Darnall Road, and an amendment concerning County rural addressing regulations.
