Riverton-based hot air balloon the “Cloud Kisser” and pilot Pat Newlin had the opportunity recently to participate in the Page Balloon Regatta, an annual rally held in Page, Arizona.
Newlin and her crew were able to snap some stunning photos of their flight through the Antelope Canyon area, at times navigating their ballons deep into the canyon for not only beautiful scenery for their passengers but amazing photos as well.
A group of local middle school students joined the Cloud Kisser for one of the flights (pictured below.)
The Page balloon rally has happened for the last 16 years and is a pilot-favorite because of the surrounding landscape.
Riverton’s Cloud Kisser has “Riverton Rendezvous” printed on one side of the balloon. This helps promote the Riverton Rendezvous Balloon Rally every July, as well as Fremont County to potential visitors.
