The Pioneer Museum in Lander is holding its annual Best Apple Pie Contest on Saturday, September 26th. In addition, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (or until gone) folks can get a mini apple pie for a donation to the museum.
“People are encouraged to make a morning of it – come to the museum to see the wonderful collection and get a pie! The money raised will help the museum in these difficult financial times.” – Site Manager Randy Wise
Those wishing to participate in the contest need to drop their pie off at the museum before 10:00 am on Saturday. Prizes include cash and ribbons for both the adult and kiddo category.
Here’s a sneak peek at the mini apple pies being made by 9-year-old Alex Wise and 14-year-old Randall Wise.
