One of Wyoming’s favorite winter sports, especially to watch, is skijoring. Many area winter events have been canceled either due to Covid or the lack of snow and that includes a few skijoring events in the state. One event though will continue as planned, with skiers and riders ready to roll. The 5th annual Saratoga Skijoring event is coming up this weekend.
February 6th and 7th, which is this weekend, and also Super Bowl weekend as well. Might be a fun combo weekend to head to Saratoga and check out the skijoring over the weekend and watch football. It’s all happening at the Buck Springs arena in Saratoga. The Saratoga Lions Club in partnership with the Carbon County Visitors Council puts on this fun event. It will only cost you $5 to get in and kids 12 and under are free.
I have been missing live events of any sort, and I am glad to see there is one for area residents to take in if they wish. Registration is closed so you can’t compete but if you are wanting to try it out, keep it in mind for 2022.
