    Wyoming ranks in bottom half of country when it comes to overall happiness

    We’re not positive we can get behind this national study. Is Wyoming less “happy” than 30 other states?

    According to a new study from WalletHub, Wyoming ranks 31st in the nation in overall happiness. Wallet Hub used several metrics to create this list including, career well being, physical health, depression and suicide rates, and positive COVID-19 test rates over the last month.

    Unfortunately per capita, Wyoming ranks highest in the country in suicide rate. Wyoming ranks 47th in growth income and 48th in work hours. On the positive side, we did rank high when it comes to overall safety.

    According to this list the happiest states are; Hawaii, Utah, Minnesota, New Jersey, and Maryland.

    The unhappiest include; West Virginia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Kentucky.
