(Shoshoni, WY) – The second round of 1/8 mile speed trials for the summer is happening on Saturday, August 28th. Gates open at 8 am and racing begins at 10 am.
Organizers have planned 12 classes from very fast to not so fast. They have also worked out the issues that came up at the first-ever event in July.
The trials take place at 1310 West 7th Street – near the cemetery and mushroom farm entrance. It’s free for spectators and $10-$40 to participate.
The first event had 44 cars and over 200 spectators. The top speed for the day was 107 mph. Check out the full results here.
