(Lander, WY) – The Lander Climate Action Network and the City of Lander teamed up to inventory the city’s streetlights, looking for burned-out or broken bulbs that can be replaced with cost- and energy-saving LEDs.
This is a family-friendly event is happening on Friday, October 29th, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Participants will meet at Centennial Park; there, maps and instructions will be provided.
“Bring a headlamp, and wear warm, light-colored clothing. Or, if you’re feeling really seasonal, costumes are welcome and encouraged,” the LCAN announcement said. “We’ll have hot chocolate for participants, and the team that finds the most broken streetlights will receive a prize!”
