The Lower Wind River Conservation District is holding a soil health workshop this Friday in Riverton from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crofts Farm, 61 Honor Farm Road.
The all-day event offers two sessions to discuss important topics related to soil health. In the morning, Eric Watson, NRCS District Conservationist will discuss the principles of soil health. The afternoon topic will be soil benefits of using a no-till drill by Cathy Rosenthal, LWRCD & Eric Watson. There will also be a run-through of the LWRCD 10 ft. Great Plains No-Till Drill and demonstration with Brown Company and landowner, Joe Crofts.
