    Snow and wind expected to impact Interstate 80 travel through the weekend

    (Cheyenne, WY) – Strong winds and steady snowfall are creating some slick roads and low visibility Friday afternoon across Interstate 80.

    The National Weather Service office in Cheyenne urges motorists to check conditions before leaving as conditions are expected to worsen through Saturday.

    2 PM MST Feb 11 UPDATED winter headlines and possible snowfall totals: Active winter weather continues through this weekend into Monday as snow showers move through SE Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle. A combination of blustery winds, snow, and slick roads will create dangerous travel conditions. Remember, when there’s ice and snow, take it slow!
