(Lander, WY) – Lander Valley High School’s Speech and Debate Team competed in the virtual State Championship this weekend earning the 3A state champion title.
Below are the placings for the LVHS team provided by Coach Lannette Lahey.
In Informative, Megan Haratyk is the 3A state champion and placed 4th overall.
Claire Lane is the Extemp 3A state champion and Lincoln Douglas is the statewide semi-finalist.
Debate was a state close out with Kephas Olson, Kaycee Conder, and Mark Susanka. Kephas Olson is the 3A state champion, Mark Susanka in 2nd place, and Kaycee Conder in 4th.
Public Forum 3A 3rd place Claire Lane and Gabe Dickinson.
Duet 6th place overall in state and 2nd place in 3A Megan Haratyk and Vaishnavi Bhavsar.
