(Dubois, WY) – The Boys & Girls Club of Dubois announced this week the 2020-21 winners of the annual American Dream Essay Contest.
Wyatt Trembly was awarded first-place this year. In addition to winning $300, he will head to state with his essay this spring for a chance at $5,000. Taking second place and winning $200 is Keira Wadge. Third place this year goes to Kaleb Gleim who takes home $100.
The American Dream Essay Contest is based on one of the 10 Cowboy Ethics Values as described in Jim Owen’s Cowboy Ethics book. Students also have the option to create their own Cowboy Ethics Value for the contest.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe did not have participants this year.
