(Lander, WY) – The latest update on the Sand Creek Fire, located west of Lander in the Wind River Range, from the Incident Management Team states the fire is at 907 acres, but is now 30% contained.
As a Red Flag Warning is in effect for most of Fremont County, until 8 PM tonight and 8 PM tomorrow for different regions, the community is reminded to use extra caution if handling fires.
