Now is a great time to stock your freezer with great tasting, locally produced meat for winter family meals. Lost Wells Cattle Co has grass-fed and grass-finished Fremont County beef burger and steaks. Gold Standard has local pork breakfast sausage, Italian sausage and ground pork which is wonderful in meatloaf or you can season it to your own taste.
Both producers have their animals custom processed in Hudson, so all your dollars stay in Fremont County to support the local economy! It’s a win-win: you get super healthy, flavorful meat and help our local economy too!
Of course, garden vegetable production is still going strong! Shop for potatoes, cucumbers, all kinds of peppers and summer squash, corn, many unique varieties of tomatoes, onions, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots, herbs….you name it and someone at the market has it!
Stock up on new honey, eggs, a wide variety of fresh baked goods, and great dairy products including milk, yogurt, fresh cream, butter, sour cream, and feta cheese.
