The City of Lander Planning Commission also serves as the Board of Adjustment (zoning). The Planning Commission meets the first and third Thursdays of each month at 6:00 pm at the Lander Community and Convention Center. The Board of Adjustment meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Community Center as needed.
The City of Lander Board of Adjustment acts as the zoning board. This board makes decisions on variance requests, conditional use requests, and home occupation requests. The City of Lander Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Mayor and City Council concerning new subdivisions, annexations, requests for water and sewer outside city limits, and street and alley vacation requests.
