LVHS grad scores first-career goal at UW Thursday

(Lander, WY) – Former Lander Valley High School Tiger Maddi Chance scored her first career goal with the University of Wyoming Cowgirls soccer team on August 26th against the Univerisity of Nebraska at Omaha.

Maddi, a starting freshman forward for the Cowgirls, made the goal within the first six minutes of the game. This was also the only goal for the first half.

“The Cowgirls battled the elements and executed all the while en route to a 4-0 victory over the Mavericks,” according to a game recap by Bud Denega. “The win pushes Wyoming’s record to 2-0-0 and marks the largest margin of victory since 2018.”
