UPDATE: Rendezvous Road is completely open to traffic as of 2:56 PM.
(Fremont County, WY) – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), Wind River Police Department and Wyoming Highway Patrol responded to an active shooting situation on Rendezvous Road Thursday, September 28, according to scanner traffic heard around 2:08 PM.
Portions of the road were temporarily shut down while law enforcement addressed the situation. Responders may still be in the area; caution is advised.
Scanner traffic indicated two subjects shot at each other and sustained injuries, and that one of the suspects/victims fled from his truck after law enforcement arrived on scene.
Scanner traffic went on to indicate the suspects/weapons had been accounted for around 2:22 PM.
