    The fun starts today and ends Saturday with music in the park – RiverFest in Lander

    The Lander Art Center presents RiverFest 2020. The event will showcase a 6-day event from August 3rd – 8th.

    Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are dedicated to showcasing vendor’s artwork outside the gallery while Tuesday and Thursday will feature events for kids. A small concert on that Saturday at Lander City Park will conclude the week’s festivities.

    PALS (Promoting Art in Lander Schools) – PALS will be here from 3-6 pm. Drop in to do some thrifty screen printing (BYO clothing that you would like to make new with a unique print).

    KATIE WEATHERS & JANESSA LENAHAN – Stained glass plant stakes, sun catchers, and panels. Needle felting and painted ornaments.

    SATURDAY, AUGUST 8TH: 4 PM-6 PM @ LANDER CITY PARK

    THE DYSTOPIANS, a Lander-based band, will be playing from 4-6 pm in Lander City Park on Saturday. People will be able to spread out throughout the park to help maintain safe social distancing. The Dystopians are “An eclectic group of musicians wanting to bring hope, joy, and a positive atmosphere during this tumultuous time. Their style of music includes folk, rock, blues, and bluegrass influences.”

    ENTRY: Donations are accepted. Proceeds benefit programming of the Lander Art Center.

    The Lander Art Center (LAC) is a nonprofit art organization located on Main Street in Lander, Wyoming. The LAC is a community-based organization working to foster a vibrant arts community in our county. We provide a wide variety of cultural and artistic opportunities to our rural residents through art exhibitions, events, and education opportunities. Our gallery space showcases art exhibitions of local, regional, and national artists changing every six to seven weeks.

    Lander Art Center gallery hours are Tues – Thurs: 10-6, Fri – Sat: 10-4.
