    Ground beef shipped to Wyoming recalled due to possible E. coli contamination

    (Riverton, WY) – The USDA announced on January 6th that Interstate Meat Dist. Inc. is recalling approximately 28,356 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli.

    Wyoming is one of seven states the meat was shipped to, according to the USDA. Both Walmart and Kroger sell this brand, and have since recalled it.

    Walmart Corporate confirmed today, January 7th, that the Riverton Walmart is on the list of select stores that carries the beef.

    The Kroger brand can be purchased at Smith’s. However, it is unconfirmed if our local Smith’s carried this ground beef. The Kroger recall notice can be viewed here.
