    POSITION: Accounts Payable Manager
    LOCATION: District Administration
    SCHEDULE: 12-month position working Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day
    SALARY: $19.86/hr. minimum with full benefits

    starting July 1, 2024 minimum will increase to $21.26/hr

    START DATE: As soon as possible

    DESCRIPTION: This is a 8-hour per day position that provides efficient management of the District’s purchasing department; implements purchasing activities within the District in compliance with mandated requirements, oversees daily activities, assures that expenditures are made in compliance with regulations and focuses upon the needs of the
    students, and achieves department objectives and District goals within budget. Primary
    job duties include, but are not limited to: assists auditors by providing necessary
    documentation; compiles data from a wide variety of sources for the purpose of analyzing
    issues and ensuring compliance; deposits funds; evaluates orders and bid documentation;
    issues purchase orders-maintains purchasing information, files and records, and
    negotiates with vendors; participates in regular department meetings; processes
    purchase-related information; provides monthly account of all expenditures; researches
    contracts, suppliers, equipment, and regulations; and responds to inquiries from various
    internal and external sources.

    QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. It is desired that candidates have job related–experience; have knowledge of the accounts payable process; rules, regulations and laws pertaining to the expenditures of Federal dollars; be able to learn how to use the district’s accounting software (Software Unlimited) quickly; have a strong background with Microsoft Office applications; have excellent human relations skills; and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
