    Frontier Academy graduation, grant discussions set for FCSD #25 School Board meeting

    (Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County School District (FCSD) #25 School Board will convene for a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 12th, 7:00 PM, in the District Office building at 121 North 5th West.

    The meeting is open to the public.

    Agenda items include a Frontier Academy graduation for Ashton Hank Gorley, as well as Perkins and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) grant award discussions.

      Karen Wardner is recommending the Board approve the revised FCSD25 Employee Handbook.

      B. Consider an Administrative Recommendation to Accept a Revised Grant Allocation

    Jodi Ibach is requesting the Board accept the adjusted allocation for the 2021-2022 Perkins Grant.

    Perkins decreased from the original allocation of $152,776.63 to $130,773.81

    *Superintendent’s recommendation: I recommend the Board accept the 2021-2022 adjusted allocation to the Perkins Grant in the amount of $130,773.81

    C. Consider an Administrative Recommendation to Accept Grant Awards

    Dallas Myers is requesting the Board accept the following IDEA Grant awards:

    – IDEA Grant 611 $909,931.00 (for ages 5-21)
    – IDEA Grant 619 $ 6,816.00 (for ages 3-5)
    – IDEA ARP Grant 611 $202,901.00
    – IDEA ARP Grant 619 $ 17,033.00

    *Superintendent’s recommendation: I recommend the Board accept the 2021-2022 grant awards of $909,931.00 from the IDEA Grant 611; $6,816.00 from the IDEA Grant 619; $202,901.00 from the IDEA ARP Grant 611 and $17,033.00 from the IDEA ARP Grant 619.

    D. Consider an Administrative Recommendation to Approve Revised Policies

    JoAnne Flanagan is requesting the Board approve revised Policy BEDH “Public Participation at Board Meetings” and Matt Gonzales is requesting the Board approve
    revised Policy EFA “School Wellness”.

    Wellness” as presented on first reading.

    E. Consider an Administrative Recommendation to Approve a Job Description

    Karen Wardner is recommending the Board approve the job description for the District-wide Attendance Liaison.
