    Fremont County’s Catholic Churches provide information and updates related to COVID-19

    Fremont County has three Roman Catholic parishes and over 1,000 registered adult members. Following the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne’s mandate that no public Masses may be offered in order to aid in prevention of COVID_19, the local parishes have provided updates for their members.

    St. Margaret’s in Riverton:

    The Church in Riverton will be open from 8am – 4pm daily for private prayer, with extended hours to be announced in the near future. Adoration will continue as regularly scheduled. Check the posted bulletins on the parish website for updates including new features on the MyParish App and possible video segments from the Pastor and Associate.

    St. Stephen’s Mission:

    The Church at the Mission will be open from 8am – 7pm daily for private prayer. As of now Stations of the Cross will be held as scheduled as will Saturday Confessions from 2-2:30pm.

    Holy Rosary in Lander:

    “We are unable to schedule any public Worship at this time at Holy Rosary. The church will be unlocked for private Worship at 8:00 a.m. every morning, and locked at 9:00 p.m. The Pastor will celebrate the Divine Office daily for the Parish and for special occasions, it may be possible to arrange for the Pastor to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with individual families or a small group. Suggestions for religious formation online will be posted on the Parish website, as well as a daily reflection and a Sunday Homily.”
