The Fremont County Element of the Yellowstone Regional Composite Squadron recently received a corporate vehicle from the Wyoming Wing.
Despite the Public Health Orders that have limited meeting activities, the Fremont County group has continued to train, promote, and increase membership. Therefore, it has a need for transportation capacity to take members to and from meetings, training events, and mission activities.
This complements the ongoing training to qualify a Ground Team for Search and Rescue Missions. The seven-passenger van is equipped with VHF, HF, and Airband radios as well. The local group, which initially formed in 2018, has grown slowly but steadily and filled functional positions towards the goal of becoming an independent squadron.
