Former Days Inn transitioning to temporary quarantine housing

The construction activity at the former Days Inn on West Main Street in Riverton over the past few months has been hard to miss. Which begs the question: what’s going on there?

The Northern Arapaho Tribe purchased the building at the end of June and has been working with the City to bring it up to code so it can be used as temporary quarantine housing for Tribal Members, Northern Arapaho Business Council Chairman Lee Spoonhunter shared during a meeting.

Prior to its reopening, the Wind River Hotel and Casino was being used as isolation housing, in addition to the temporary housing set up in Arapahoe.
