    Dr. Claude Minor joins SageWest Health Care

    Board certified general surgeon expands access to surgery and endovascular services in Fremont County

    Fremont County, Wyo. – SageWest Health Care is pleased to announce that Claude Minor, M.D., has joined its staff and will be offering treatment of peripheral vascular disease and surgery services to patients at SageWest Health Care in Riverton and Lander. Dr. Minor is one of several new physicians to begin practicing in Fremont County this year as SageWest continues to grow healthcare services.

    Dr. Minor has more than 30 years of experience with surgical care including endovascular surgery, trauma and critical care, cancer care surgery and general surgery. He joins SageWest most recently from Ochsner University Health Medical Center in Monroe, La., where he has practiced since 2014 and Louisiana State University School of Medicine, also in Monroe, where he served as a professor of surgery since 2013.

    Dr. Minor completed his endovascular fellowship in endovascular at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas and his fellowship in trauma and critical care medicine at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo. Dr. Minor completed a residency in general surgery at Northeast Ohio College of Medicine in Youngstown, Ohio and earned his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La.
