    Coffee Time: Lander Pet Connection offering ‘Pets for Vets’ promotion all November

    (Lander, WY) – 1330 KOVE AM / 107.7 FM’s Coffee Time host Vince Tropea recently sat down with Lander Pet Connection (LPC) Interim Executive Director Marta Casey, who filled us in on a number of updates and events at the LPC, including the “Pets for Vets” promotion.

    For the entire month of November, Veterans will receive half-off prices on all adoption fees from pets adopted at the LPC.

    Any business that wants to sponsor an adoption for a Veteran will also be eligible for the discount this month as well.

    “We want to thank and honor all of the Veterans in our communities,” Marta stated.

    In addition to the “Pets for Vets” promotion, Marta let us know about the LPC’s need for animal field trip volunteers, job opportunities at the LPC, a fundraising raffle going on at Wild Iris Mountain Sports, and the current situation on a special needs cat named Callie who is need of a foster or forever home.

    We also got an update on LPC alum Watson, who we recently learned got adopted after an eight month stay at the LPC and is now a career dog working in a K-9 unit, as well as an update on Hot Toddy, a special needs puppy who has made extraordinary improvements with the care he has received.
