#Activate10: Project graduation for LVHS, PHS fundraiser begins Monday

“Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.”

(Lander, WY) – Project Graduation for Lander Valley High School and Pathfinder High School is back again this year to celebrate the achievements, accomplishments and dedication of Lander’s graduating class.

To help with the celebration, the LOR Foundation is donating up to $2,000 toward this community effort through a social media fundraiser. Between now and May 2, share a post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram that explains what you love about Lander. Your post must be tagged with @LORfoundation and the hashtag #ProjectGraduation in order for LOR to make the donation – each post is worth $25.

“Traditionally we hold an event for all seniors of the graduating class after graduation and provide them a fun and exciting chemical free environment,” shared Danielle Hakse, Project Graduation chairperson. “This events helps to keep the kids safe and prevents them from going out to parties and possibly making life altering decisions.”

This year will be similar to last year due to COVID, Danielle noted. Main Street parade, banners, fireworks and a tailgate-type event. County 10 will keep you updated on all the Lander Project Graduation events in the coming weeks.
