#Activate10: Over 100 indoor activities for kiddos

Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

Generally speaking, local COVID-19 cases causing school closures across the county happened quickly. We could all likely agree on that. Usually, when students are off for extended periods of time plans can be made, arrangements organized and overall be prepared. Since that time wasn’t there for families or the schools, our hope is to share ideas, fun things, activities etc…for the kiddos to do during this time.

This also means we would love to hear ideas from the community! Send em’ to [email protected]!

To start off, we’re going digital with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. They are offering free “Home Safari Facebook Live” experiences daily, along with at-home activities. You can check out more details, times and the animals they plan to hang with by clicking here. Thanks for sharing this tip with us, Candi Saunders!

We reached out to Courtney Hill from Aspen Early Learning Center for some ideas earlier this week, and this is one she shared:

    Thanks for sharing, Courtney!
