US 20/26 is closed from Moneta to Casper, Wyoming as of Thursday evening.
A wildfire began around 6:30 p.m. according to the Bureau of Land Management Wyoming. As of Thursday around 9:00 p.m. the fire has burned approximately 250 acres.
BLM and Natrona County firefighters are working to help control the blaze.
As of 9:00 p.m. the Wyoming Department of Transportation has no information on highway reopening time.
