(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County School District #25 Board of Trustees met for the first time in 2022 last night, January 11th.
All eight action items on the evening’s agenda were unanimously approved.
Highlights include:
Dr. Joanne Andre-Flanagan’s contract as Superintendent for the 2023-24 school year was extended.
Out-of-state travel requests for American Heritage to travel to Boston and New York in March 2022, and RMS 8th Grade Band to travel to Layton, Utah on May 6-7, 2022 were both approved per policy and following all COVID-19 guidelines.
Tim Fixter of Fagnant, Lewis, and Brinda, P.C. presented the audit report for the 2020-2021 fiscal year.
The school district received an “unmodified audit opinion,” which is the highest level of assurance a CPA can provide that things are accurate, according to Fixter.
