These photos of a Sky Crane helicopter were snapped Tuesday afternoon at the Riverton Regional Airport.
The helicopter is licensed to Yuba City, California and will likely be assisting in firefighting efforts in Wyoming. According to the pilots, they’ll relocate today to Casper and await further instructions to find out which fire they’re needed at.
There are currently two fires in the Bridger-Teton National Forest that have forced some area residents to evacuate homes. There are two other substantial fires burning near the Wyoming-Colorado state line.
