Wind River Lodge #25 and the Shoshoni Masonic Club annually award “Student Citizen of the Year” to four Shoshoni High School (SHS) Seniors. The students are selected by SHS Staff based on a list of criteria like GPA, being helpful and friendly, embody a good citizen and student, among other things.
The recipients are usually honored at an awards ceremony banquet, unfortunately, it was canceled this year. Receiving the award from the SHS class of 2020 are: Kodi Christensen, Kaden DeWitt, Colton Stone, and Candace Konija. Along receiving a plaque, students are also given $500 to use on anything of their choosing.
