Christmas tree permits for the Shoshone National Forest will be available for purchase online starting November 9th as well as in-person, by appointment only, at the Shoshone National Forest district offices in Cody, Lander, and Dubois.
Fremont County businesses also selling permits include: Wind River Gear in Dubois (starting November 9th) and Popo Agie One Stop in Lander (starting November 16th).
The permit is $8.00 and can be used for one tree up to 20′ tall. Additional permits must be purchased for trees over that height.
