    Sheriff’s Monthly Commission Report: bookings, emergency calls on decline for November

    (Lander, WY) – Sheriff Ryan Lee of the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) gave the monthly Commision Report at the December 14th Fremont County Commissioners’ meeting.

    In total, the Sheriff’s Office has responded to 7,130 calls for service this year.

    There were a total of 142 bookings for the month of November, down 13 from the previous month.

    Of these bookings, 68 were for RPD, 29 for FCSO, 37 for LPD, 7 for WHP, 2 for USM, and 4 for SPD.

    The current inmate population sits at 170 in house, and 174 total in custody. This includes two juvenile occupants, one in the State Hospital, and one “out-of-county adult.”

    In terms of sentencing demographics, of the 174 in house inmates, 45 have been sentenced, and 98 are pre-adjudicated, with 53% awaiting disposition in District Court, 37% in Riverton Circuit Court, 8% in Lander Circuit Court, and 1% in Riverton Municipal Court.

    So far there have been 15 search and rescue missions for this fiscal year, compared to 25 this time last year. Of these missions, air resources were utilized six times, and there have been three fatalities.
