Several vehicle break-ins reported this week in Lander

The Lander Police Department is reporting that at least 8 vehicles were broken into, many of which had items stolen from them. 

The break-ins and thefts occured sometime between Sunday night and early Monday morning.

August 12th at 6:09 a.m. a motorist on South 6th Street reported that items including binoculars, a range finder, and $60 cash were stolen.

At 7:29 a.m. Monday another call came in from Parks Avenue with a report of stolen fly rods, reels, and binoculars.

Two more break-ins were reported on Parks Avenue around 9:00 a.m. Monday. A back-up camera was reported to be missing from one of the vehicles.

Between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. LPD received 3 more complaints of vehicle break-ins on Parks Avenue. 

Just before 5:00 p.m. Monday evening, a vehicle on Shoshone Ave was reported to have been broken into with money missing from inside.

Additionally, Lander Police responded to a report of a stolen scooter on Northside Drive just before 10:00 p.m.
