SageWest honors 2020 Mercy Award winners

Congratulations Libby and Celeste for being named this year’s Mercy Award winners. The Mercy Award recognizes one employee at each SageWest campus who consistently goes beyond the call of duty in serving patients and our community, demonstrates a level of commitment and caring that transcends every day, respects others in everything they do and inspires others with compassion, dedication, and a merciful spirit.

Libby Littler, System Clinical Educator, is our Mercy Award Winner for our Lander campus. She is inspiration and motivation to others to overcome challenges and to excel as her leadership was clear particularly through the COVID-19 pandemic. Countless times, she assisted her co-workers without hesitation, during very difficult situations. Libby helped instill confidence and clarity with the use of PPE updates and caring for very critically ill patients. Libby provides community healthcare education on early heart attack care, Stop the Bleed, hands-only CPR, local youth education with Life R U Ready, Women/Men in STEM and participates in local health fairs.
