    Riverton woman cited for crashing vehicle into Jet Ski; Leaving the scene

    On Friday, August 10th at 12:16 p.m. the Riverton Police Department took a call about a Jeep 4X4 that had crashed into a parked Jet Ski on Peak Drive and did not stop.

    The vehicle and suspect were located later that afternoon by a Riverton Police Department officer.

    According to RPD Captain Todd Byerly, a “41-year-old female from Riverton was issued a citation for leaving the scene of an accident.”

    There were no injuries in the crash. The accident report suggested over $1,000 in damage to the Jet Ski. The suspect’s Jeep also received damage to the front passenger side.

    This incident was one of six total hit-and-runs last weekend reported by RPD, LPD, and the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
