Opening Weekend of the Riverton Holiday Festival kicks off this Friday, December 6th at 5p in Downtown Riverton. Main Street will be shut down to traffic from Federal to North 2nd Street, local businesses will be holding open houses, the Holiday Competitions (featuring Business/Club Window) will kickoff, and local artists will be featured in several businesses!

Light-Up Parade
The Light-Up Parade will feature floats and entries lit for the season at 7p! The parade will lead everyone to Jason’s park (behind the Depot Restaurant) where carolers will sing and the Community Tree will be lit! Please bring an ornament to hang on the tree for your family and/or organization.

Festival of the Trees
Also, be sure to check out The Festival of Trees! CES’s largest fundraiser for the year is a two-day event including Family Night on December 5th and the Gala Evening December 6th.
During Family Night from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., families can have a preview of elegantly decorated trees, enjoy refreshments, children’s crafts, a visit from Santa and more!
December 6th is the Gala event for individuals and corporate sponsors, which includes dinner, a silent auction, entertainment and a live auction of exquisite and beautifully decorated themed Christmas Trees and wreaths. VIP admission is at 5:30 p.m. with general admission from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
