    Natrona County International Airport will get a $2.5 million renovation

    Local passengers who opt to fly out of Casper’s Natrona County International Airport will soon see the results of a $2.5 million renovation project.

    The second busiest airport in Wyoming will see expansions to the holding gate area and renovations to the interior with new furniture, bathrooms, and fixtures.

    According to the Casper Star-Tribune, the 20-year loan carries a 5% interest rate.

    Airport Director Glenn Januska told reporters he hopes space will attract more business. He said the airport had seen a 5% increase in passengers over the last year.

    Earlier this month, 10 Wyoming airports received grants from the Wyoming Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division. There were no Fremont County airports on the list.
