Mullen Fire officials reported Friday morning that the southeast Wyoming and northern Colorado blaze is now listed as 18% contained.
The fire has burned 173,747 acres and roughly 1,100 firefighters are working on containment and saving structures at this time.
Officials are hoping for cooler temperatures and potentially moisture Sunday to help assist the process.
