The County 10 team continues to accept donations Wednesday and Thursday for victims of the Mullen Fire and for the nearly 800 firefighters working the blaze. Earlier this week, we shared that the fire has expanded to nearly 100,000 acres and has destroyed 31 building.
We’ll take every donated item and deliver them to our neighbors in need Friday and Saturday.
Items that are currently in need include;
- Water
- Slippers
- Lip Balm
- Sun Screen
- Socks (men’s and women’s)
- Baby wipes
- Medicated foot powder
- Blister kits
- Snacks that don’t require refrigeration or that melt
- Headlamps
- Mini Gatorade packs (The kind you add water to)
If you’d like to make a donation, please drop them off at 2255 Brunton Court in Riverton at the entrance nearest the flag pole.
We’re accepting items Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Additionally, County 10 is accepting thank you notes to firefighters. This is a great activity if you’d like to get a child involved!
