#landerbiz, brought to you by the Lander Chamber of Commerce, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.
High-quality craft spirit maker Sweetwater Spirits went through the steps earlier this year to turn owner Paul McCown’s gin-making hobby into an official business. His focus on spirit making transitioned a little this spring when he was called upon by the State of Wyoming and the Wyoming Business Council to make hand sanitizer for first responders in response to COVID-19.
Now that Paul has met the sanitizer needs of first responders, he has launched a website so anyone can order hand sanitizer from Sweetwater Spirits. He plans to deliver local orders in Lander, but can ship anywhere in the country.
You may also recall earlier this year when County 10 shared Paul (formerly Lander Distilling) teamed up with Ameri-Clean to make a sanitizer for the specialized piece of equipment manufactured by Ameri-Tech to sanitize and protect a variety of spaces.
While Paul is busy making sanitizer right now, he still plans to have his distillery making spirits as soon as possible.
You can place an order for sanitizer by clicking here. Stay up-to-date with the distillery by following their Facebook page.
