    Lady Rustlers V-Ballers end regular season with a win over Casper; Region IX Tourney next in Cheyenne tomorrow

    (Riverton, Wyo.) – The Central Wyoming College Lady Rustlers played Casper College at home on Friday, and ended their regular season play with a win.  Central lost the first set (19-25), but bounced back to win the match in 4 sets (25-22, 25-16, 25-17).

    Calisha Simms led the Lady Rustlers offensively with 15 kills, and teammate Rylee Burmester added another 14 to the teams total of 48.  Aubri Whatcott led the team with 22 assists, while Riley Haderlie added 9.  “Friday was our Sophomore Night and last home game.  A very special event to honor the sophomores and the two seasons they have dedicated to this school and program.  It was a heart wrenching moment for me, as I realized these girls were off to follow their future dreams.  The girls were able to win the game on their home court against Casper.  A very good victory for the team, as they head to Regionals.”  -Coach Gallard
