Earlier this week, County 10 shared the Hudson Post Office had been broken into sometime between Sunday evening and early Monday morning.
As of October 21st, there are no suspects and the break-in remains under investigation with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming Postal Inspector out of Cheyenne, according to an update from Sheriff Ryan Lee.
Sheriff Lee shared the front door of the Post Office was forced open and they gained entry into a secure area of the building. The only things missing were the keys to PO boxes. “To our knowledge, there was no mail missing.”
As shared in our initial post, the Postmaster was working to replace all keys and locks. Click here to read more.
