Joanna Lynn Starrett, beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend passed away in Savannah, Georgia on August 24, 2019, at the age of 48.
Joanna was born in Grants Pass, Oregon on July 11, 1971, to Stephanie “Lynn” and Rob Disbrow Sr. She was raised in Nevada where she met Edward Starrett. Several years after moving to Lander, Wyoming, she and Edward were married in Sinks Canyon on July 14, 2001. They spent many years living in Lander and she always felt like it was home.
Joanna was a certified customer service specialist and loved the work. She treasured music of all kinds, dancing and visiting friends and family. Her daughter Taylor Guthrie was a special light in her life. She had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need.
She is survived by her daughter Taylor Guthrie of Anchorage, Alaska; husband Edward of Lander; father Ron Disbrow Sr of Las Vegas, NV; mother Stephanie Kitchens and brother Ronnie Disbrow Jr, both of Lander. She is also survived by sisters Jamie Disbrow, Alicia Morris, April Brown, Ashlee Disbrow, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her Life is being planned and will be announced in the near future.
