    Illinois woman found deceased off of WY-28 identified

    (South Pass, WY) – On February 24th, the body of an Illinois woman was recovered by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office after it was discovered in the snow about 4-miles away from an unoccupied vehicle on WY-28.

    The incident has remained under investigation with the Coroner’s Office, however, no foul play was suspected, according to earlier reports from the FCSO.

    Released today, March 19th, the Coroner’s Office has identified the woman as 35-year-old Andrea Alvarez.

    Their report states her manner of death as “suicide,” and cause of death as “exsanguination and hypothermia due to exposure and self-inflicted lacerations.” The relevant toxicology in the case states, “medical non-compliance with psychiatric therapeutics.”

    No other information about the investigation has been released by authorities.
