Ice rink at Boysen Swim Beach is open for skaters

(Shoshoni, WY) – An ice skating rink has been set up at the Boysen State Park Swim Beach this year and is open Wednesday through Sunday. It’s closed Mondays and Tuesdays for resurfacing.

“We hope that families will take advantage of this new amenity that we are trying this year at the park and we hope to see it get used a lot,” shared John Bass, Boysen State Park Superintendent.

The Shoshoni Recreation District #24 has loaned skates and hockey sticks, which can be found at the change house across from the restroom. These items are free to use if you do not have your own and they are relying on the honor system that visitors return them after use.

There is no charge for the use of the ice rink or the equipment but the standard park day-use fees apply at $7/vehicle/day for Wyoming residents and $12/vehicle/day for non-residents.

The Swim Beach is located on the north end of Boysen.
